Sometimes you just need to vent about life.
Sometimes you just need to talk things out.
Sometimes life doesn't go how you want it to.
Sometimes you don't need to stress.
Sometimes you do.
Sometimes you need to understand why.
Sometimes you don't.
Sometimes just listening can be the best therapy.
Sometimes things can get annoying and frustrating.
Sometimes life isn't fair.
Sometimes you just have to get up and get over it.
Sometimes things do go your way.
Sometimes lyrics to a song say exactly how you feel.
Sometimes you need someone in your life who will listen.
Sometimes all you need is love.
Sometimes you don't feel like doing it, but you do it anyway.
Sometimes things seem too difficult.
Sometimes people leave, but they come back.
Sometimes moving on is best.
Sometimes getting your hopes up is setting yourself up for heartbreak.
Sometimes it's not.
Sometimes everything in life goes your way.
Sometimes all you need is a good friend.
Sometimes seeing you brings back those feelings I've been trying to hide.
Sometimes bad boys break hearts.
Sometimes you will get through it no matter how hard it is.
Sometimes it will be worth it cause that's what love is.

Inspiration
I know that the leaders of the church are inspired and receive that inspiration from God. Today I got a calling and it's a calling that I honestly would never have wanted to do. Visiting Teaching is something that I don't particularly have a testimony in and I've said that a lot before. Well, God is aware of where I need to improve and apparently it's in Visiting Teaching. My calling is a Visiting Teacher District Leader which means that I have to go around and put together the visiting teaching report to give to the Relief Society President. I don't particularly like Visiting Teaching so this will be good for me to learn to love it and gain a testimony in it. Also, I know that leaders are inspired to say things to us from God. I had an interview with my bishop today and he said some things that were exactly what I needed to hear and what I've been thinking about. God does know me and knows the things that I need and he works through the leaders of his church.

Things Will NEVER Be the Same
I know I have a post already like this but this seems to be happening quite frequently in my life lately it seems. My best friend since 8th grade just jumped on the bandwagon and got hitched. I'm so happy for C and S! They are a great looking couple and I wish them the best!
Sadly, things will not be the same for us. Some things that I will miss:
Sadly, things will not be the same for us. Some things that I will miss:
~Having sleepovers with 5 of us spooning in C's bed.
~ALWAYS going up to C's house and doing whatever
~Making delicious food
~Running around the neighborhood
~Riding scooters everywhere
~Helping C with her jobs so we could play
I know it's part of growing up but having her married is going to be especially hard for me. I know we'll still keep in touch and it's going to be great! Love you C!

Too School for Cool
Ok so I'm not really too cool for school. In fact, I'm loving school right now and I'm hoping I feel the same at the end of the semester! I'm so excited for all my classes and I feel like this semester is going to be a great one! I think I've finally found what I'm interested in and let's hope that it sticks. I'm taking a Human Development class and I think it is going to be one of the best classes I've ever taken. The teacher loves what he's teaching and I know that it's going to be great. Plus I've heard great things about him and the class, so I'm going into it with high hopes and expectations. From what it seems right now, most of my classes are going to overlap in content and it's good when that happens because remembering facts is so much easier. It's going to be so great!! I'm also working this semester and hopefully that goes good. Things have changed a bit around there so it's going to take some getting used to but it will be just fine once everything is figured out.
One thing that I also have high hopes for is my ward. From what it seems in the past 5 days I've been in it, the people are just so great! Also, I've been blessed with awesome roommates! They are all so great! Everyone that I've met so far is super nice and down to earth. None of the "I'm better than you" feelings that I've gotten in previous wards. Everyone is so welcoming and is looking to become friends with everyone. Our bishop talked to us at ward prayer on Sunday and said that our ward is our family away from home and these people really take that to heart. We've already been invited to do stuff with the ward and it's just so fun to feel like we belong. I know that this year is going to be so great but I have to put in my effort to make it great. I can't wait for what more is to come!

It's Been a While
Well it's been a while since I've last blogged. I know, I know I'm a slacker and half but I'm ready to change! Summer has been a crazy mess of things and I've been super, crazy busy with things! I can't believe that it's all coming to an end in 3 short days. I'm feeling bitter sweet about it all because I love being down at school and having a super fun social life but at the same time, I love my job here and I'm going to miss it regardless of how much I hated it some days. I've just learned so much about everything this Summer and I know that I came home to be able to learn all that I have. Here are some highlights:
1. Fourth of July at Bear Lake: It's a tradition in my family to go to Bear Lake for the 4th. At the resort we stay at, they have lots of things going on that day and we tend to do quite well in winning those. We've won the sand sculpting competitions, volleyball, and this year we won the sidewalk chalk drawing competition thanks to M's mother who is an amazing artist! Thanks K!
2. Girls trip to ST. GEORGE!: ok so this was so much fun! It was a much needed trip and I couldn't have asked for a better time! 3 days of laying out in the sun, shopping and pedicures and not to mention TONS of eating. It was so much fun to spend time with my girls K, M, and J. Here are some crazy pics from the week:
3. Birthday at Bear Lake: Every year we do a big family trip to Bear Lake with my mom's side of the family. 50+ people, 4 condos, 2 boats, and it might be chaotic but it's tons of fun. It always happens to fall on my birthday every year so I get to spend my day with the people I love. It was such a great day! I basically spent my whole day on the boat but it was exactly what I would've wanted anyway. One exciting thing that happened is that I got up on one ski! It was my first time actually staying up for longer than 2 seconds! So exciting! Hopefully pictures will come later of that trip.
4. Working at my job: I know I've already posted about my job but it has been one of the best experiences I've had. I've done so much with those kids and we've definitely had some not so good times but it's been an adventure, one I'll never forget.
I can't wait to see what this new school year will bring! Hopefully it will be just as good as my summer has been!

And they call me Miss B. (Name abbreviated)
I'm home for the Summer and just started a new job at a daycare. My first week was literally the worst thing ever. I didn't know what I was doing....still don't....and I just felt like I didn't fit and it wasn't going to work out. After getting through those first few weeks, I've learned to love it. Yes there are still hard times and some of the kids drive me nuts but I don't think anything has ever given me so much joy than working with these kids.

There are good times and there are bad times but the good times definitely trump the bad. These kids make going to work every day worth it. They are becoming some of my best friends and I know it's going to be super hard when I have to leave to move back to school. So I need to just enjoy these kids while I can!

Missing Out
Well kids, today this girl:

And this boy:

are getting married!!
Super sad I'm not going to be able to be there...stupid expensive flights and poor college student status. But anyways, I just wanted to give a shout out to K and M and let them know how excited I am for them and how happy I am for them to start their life together. Don't get me wrong, I'm super duper sad that I don't get to live with K anymore and I think that's the hardest part of this whole situation but I'm excited for them to finally be together forever. I love them both and can't wait to see pictures and hear everything about their special day. Whoo!! Love and Miss you both!
