All Good Things Must Come to an End

Yeah, that's right. This school year is coming to a close and I'm closing another chapter in my life. Everything I've known for the past 2 years is changing.

1. I'm moving out of my apartment I've lived in for 2 years
2. I won't be living with any of my original roommates
3. K. and K are married/getting married.
4. My summer will be spent at home with my family.
5. All my roommates this year except one aren't going to be my roommate next year.

I've said before that change is good but this time, I'm not so sure if I can say that. These past few years have been great and I'm never going to forget all the laughs, tears, surprises, sad times, exciting times and the best of times. Here are some things that I will always remember:

It makes me quite sad it's all coming to an end but it makes me even more excited for what's to come!

Life's Not Fair is Right....

While I'm stuck studying my brains out with this....

My family decides to do this....

Fair? I think not.

Oh...what a Week

Well, let's just say that this week hasn't been my best. In fact, it definitely goes into the category of worst. But, I'm not writing to complain and make everyone feel sorry and sad for my poor little life. I just want to let you know somethings that I have learned:

I've learned that life never goes as planned
I've learned that people always surprise you.
I've learned that procrastinating is always a kick in the butt.
I've learned that a day planner would probably be a good investment for me.
I've learned that the library and I have a love/hate relationship.
I've learned that it's really important to set goals for yourself.
I've learned that no matter how much I try to tell myself or pretend, I will always hate my humanities class.
I've learned that it's super awkward when you pass your professor and he's the one to say your name first.
I've learned that I would be a lot better off with more sleep.
I've learned that reading before a class really pays off.
I've learned that sometimes changing your plans can be for the better.
I've learned that life wasn't meant to be easy.
I've learned that I've come a long way but I still have a lot further to go.
I've learned that power steering makes a world of difference.
I've learned that I cannot go to bed with wet hair.
I've learned that I can do anything if I put my mind to it.

This week has been rough but I've really learned a lot.
Remember: "Sometimes things have to fall apart, so other things can fall into place."

Thoughts

Just some things I've been thinking about...

Netflix is probably the best invention ever.
Snow was my favorite; now it's overrated.
This semester isn't going fast enough.
I want my worry free childhood back.
I have a love/hate relationship with the munchies...depending on what food I have.
I also have a love/hate relationship with the Bachelor.
I waste way too much time watching TV shows.
All my friends are dropping like flies and getting married.
I love online "window" shopping.
I love buying new socks...especially colored ones.
There's nothing better than clean hair.
I wish that I lived in the 20's...great style.
Singing in the Rain is one of my favorite movies.
Family makes a crappy week wonderful.
Cereal makes the morning worth waking up for.
I wish I knew what I was doing with my life.
There's never enough money for what I want.
Go-Gurts are really good frozen.
Summer plans make me extra excited for school to be over.
I wish I was a fearless child.
A round-off back handspring has been a goal of mine for as long as I can remember.
Change comes much too often.
Celine Dion is one of the best singers ever.
I wish I could dance.
As much as I hate to admit it, I'm obsessed with shoes.
Why is confronting people so hard?
Sudoku is my way of wasting time but I convince myself it's not wasting time because I'm working my brain.
Fingernail polish is an obsession.
I hate early mornings.
I love late night/early morning chats.
Feet are disgusting.
Boys are confusing.
I've needed my hair highlighted for quite few months now and it's driving me nuts.
I wish life was simpler.
I hate exercising but wish I didn't.
Doughnuts are going to kill me.
I love wearing new jeans.
I would die without my straightener.
I want a six pack.
I always plan for life to not go as planned and it always does.
People are confusing.
I'm excited to one day get married.
I can't wait to be a mom.
I don't know what I would do without great friends and family in my life.

Thanks for reading!!!

Forgetful and Angry

Tuesdays are definitely one of my most favorite days of the week. No, it's not because I have less classes or work or anything particularly exciting happens. In fact, I have to work every Tuesday at 7am which for me not being a morning person is a huge problem. No, Tuesdays aren't my favorite because of anything having to do with my personal routine or life for that matter. Tuesdays are my favorite for one reason and one reason only. My favorite TV shows air on Mondays making them available for me to watch on Tuesdays. Yes, I love Tuesdays because I get to watch TV, on my computer of course.

Walking to school/work today, I was pretty exciting to hurry and complete everything that I was required to do so that by 11:00am, I would be able to relax and enjoy wasting my time. I frantically left class hurrying to the library to get one of the comfy chairs to sit and soak in my TV time. Well got to the library and the comfy chairs were taken. Made me a little angry but not that much. Found myself a nice cubical in the back corner instead. Excitedly opened my computer. Reached into my backpack to find....wait a second. I FORGOT MY HEADPHONES. So much for watching anything. I can't even do some of my homework that is due tonight cause of the lack a personal listening device. So now I sit still having over an hour to waste. Bah. Couldn't be angrier with myself.

Gymnastics or Bust

I don't know what it is but lately I've been obsessed with gymnastics. I'm not sure why. It probably is because I have an obsession with a ABCFamily show called Make it or Break it. It's about competitive gymnasts and their life constantly in the gym practicing. I discovered it last year and I've loved watching the first 2 seasons. Can't wait for it to start up again.

Because of my new found obsession, I decided to try out the beginning gymnastic class. I took tumbling when I was younger and I didn't think that it would be that difficult for me to pick it up again. Well, the content isn't that hard but my body is a little different now than it was say 8 or more years ago. After the first day of doing summersaults and learning to "stick it," my body was/is shot. All of my muscles hurt. But, needless to say, I'm loving it. Today for example, we were doing our end of class strength training and one of the trainings is a pull over on the low bar. It just what gymnasts do to get their body on top of the bar. Our teacher has an assistant that was there spotting people, helping them to be able to do it. I walked up to do it and he said, "We've got a gymnast here!" and I said, "Well, we'll see!" and then he said, "Well you should be one cause you're built like one!" I just started laughing! Me! A gymnast because of my build?!? Well shoot! That just means me and gymnastics were made for each other. A relationship I wouldn't mind developing!
