The Time is NOW!

All my life, well let's just say my college years, I've always wanted to make a difference in the world. Do something to leave my mark and help me to know that I've done something great to help change the world and the lives of the people in it. The problem is I've never known how to go about doing this. I'm not a bajillionaire that has money to give. I just don't know where to start. Also, how can I, a college girl from Utah, really make a difference in this world. Yesterday, I saw a lot of people posting everywhere possible about Kony2012. Being my naive self, I had no idea what it was and usually I don't care to know. But everybody and their dog was posting this video so me giving into pressure, gave in and watched it. In that 30 minute video, I feel like this cause is something that I want to be a part of. Kony 2012 is a cause to help stop the rebel armies and their leader Joseph Kony in Uganda. I've heard before about the Invisible Children and the Rebel Armies but I always thought, yeah I can donate money but like that is going to make any difference whatsoever. But after watching that video, I have found a cause that I'm really passionate about and feel like it's something that I want to take part of. Being my little self, all I can do right now it to make people aware. So that is where this post comes in. So, the 5 of you that actually read this blog, I'm talking to you. WATCH THIS VIDEO.

After you've watched it, SHARE IT with everyone you know. Yeah I might not be able to make a major impact by myself, but together we can make a difference. WE CAN SHAPE HUMAN HISTORY. This is just the start of this cause and I know if we all work together, nothing can stop us. This year. 2012. Let's all make a difference and catch Joseph Kony. So, let's get his name out there. This man needs to be stopped and if we all do what we can, he will be stopped. Even if you aren't as passionate about this cause as I am, still share the video so we can at least make others aware. That is were it starts. Making others aware. Do your part and together, we can make a difference.

Life as I Know It

Month long colds suck.
Leggings aren't pants and yet I still wear them as such.
My hair is FINALLY growing.
I want it to be platinum though.
New obsession: twitter.
You know you have too many clothes when you have 30+ empty hangers and your closet is still full.
I need to work out.
26 days until Hunger Games (not counting today)
Saltines and poweraid cure everything.
At least that's what I tell myself.
Nothing like having a best friend. Love you K!
My trip to Oregon was AMAZING!
New music is awesome.
Colored skinny jeans--LOVE!
26 days until Hunger Games! (not counting today)
Love learning new songs on the guitar.
Winter semester is almost over...SHOOT!
Nesquik reminds me of M. Miss you!
BOGO Jamba is probably the best thing ever.
Not sure how I feel about random strangers asking on dates.
The future is scaring me.
Apparently to some people I look like I'm 14.
26 days until Hunger Games!

Nothing Better

Today was a great day.

1. D and A invited K and I to breakfast.

2. T and T invited K and I to the BYU Hockey game.

Nothing better than spending time with friends in what I like to call a "2-way friendship."

Awkward #2

Awkward #2

That awkward moment when you see your friend's ex husband and awkwardly turn the corner as to avoid making eye contact and him recognizing you.

Awkward #1

That awkward moment when you have to go through every hanger in your closet to find the item of clothing you want to wear.

Do I have too many clothes?

Probably.

Stay tuned. Awkward #2 coming soon.

There's No Place Like Home

This past weekend, I went home to go snowboarding with my brother and sister. Well, mother nature had different plans and rained out all our snow. So, I still went home and hung out with my family all weekend. Usually I don't like coming home for no reason because nothing usually happens and we just all sit around doing nothing which I hate. Well, that's pretty much all we did this weekend and it was exactly what I needed. It helped me to forget about everything I'm worried and stressed about at school and I was able to just enjoy being with my family. I definitely don't want to go back to school. I'm so blessed to have such a great family and I don't know where I'd be without them!

Numbness

I feel numb.

Numb to anything and everything around me.

Everyone around me moving so fast.

Accomplishing so much.

I'm here.

Standing still to all around me.

Not feeling happy or sad.

In a state of empty.
